Don and Melinda Dionne formed the firm of Dionne & Dionne in 1996. Don has been practicing law since 1989, and has concentrated on bankruptcy since 1992. Don served as a Chapter 7 Trustee for 14 years. During that time, he managed over 5000 Chapter 7 cases. Melinda has practiced bankruptcy law since 1986. Together, we have almost 40 years combined experience in bankruptcy law. In the area of bankruptcy, we handle Chapter 7, Chapter 13, and Chapter 11 cases.
Upon graduation from law school in 1986, Melinda began clerking for the Honorable George S. Wright who was, at the time, the Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Alabama. Upon completion of her clerkship, Melinda began working with the law firm of Schoel, Ogle, Benton and Centeno. Melinda became a partner in the firm in 1993. During her tenure at Schoel, Ogle, Benton and Centeno, Melinda handled Chapter 7, 11, and 13 cases. She also developed a reputation as a highly skilled bankruptcy attorney and oral advocate.
